Frequent charging has a certain impact on the health of chargers,mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1、Accelerated aging of electronic components

The charger is composed of numerous electronic components inside,such as transformers,capacitors,diodes,etc.During the charging process,these components are all in working condition,and the current passing through them generates heat.Frequent charging means that these components undergo frequent heating cooling cycles.Just as repeatedly bending a metal wire can cause it to fatigue fracture,frequent thermal expansion and contraction of electronic components can accelerate their aging process.

For example,capacitors are important components used in chargers for filtering and other functions.Frequent temperature changes can cause the electrolyte inside the capacitor to dry up or the plates to age,resulting in a decrease in its performance and an inability to effectively filter out impurities in the current,thereby affecting the stability of the charger's output current.

2、Increased circuit losses

Each time the charger is charged,its circuit undergoes a complete current transmission process.Frequent charging will cause the wires and connection points in the circuit to continuously pass current,which will gradually increase the contact resistance of the connection points.Because when current passes through,a certain amount of heat is generated at the connection point.As the number of heating cycles increases,oxidation may occur at the connection point,further increasing the contact resistance.

This increase in resistance will cause an increase in energy loss during the operation of the charger.The circuit that was originally capable of transmitting electrical energy,due to the circuit losses caused by frequent charging,may result in a portion of the electrical energy being converted into heat and wasted,and may also cause local overheating,posing a threat to the charger.

3、Reduce service life

Considering the aging of electronic components and circuit losses mentioned above,frequent charging will significantly reduce the service life of the charger.Under normal circumstances,a qualified charger can be used for several years,but if it is frequently charged,the performance of its internal components will decrease,and the probability of circuit failure will greatly increase.For example,there may be issues such as unstable output voltage and inability to properly identify charging equipment,leading to premature scrapping of the charger.
