The charger poses the following risks during use:

1、Electrical risk

Short circuit risk

If the internal circuit of the charger is damaged due to components,aging of the circuit,or external factors such as water ingress or moisture,it may cause the positive and negative poles to be directly connected,resulting in a short circuit.When short circuited,the current will instantly increase sharply,generating a large amount of heat,which may cause the charger casing to melt,smoke,or even catch fire.For example,when the insulation layer on the circuit board of a charger is damaged and adjacent conductive lines come into contact,it can cause a short circuit.

In addition,if the quality of the charging cable used by the user is poor,the internal wires may come into contact with the positive and negative wires due to excessive bending or damage,which can also cause a short circuit.

Overload risk

When using devices that do not meet the charger specifications for charging,overload situations may occur.For example,a charger designed to charge mobile phones(with an output current of generally around 1-2A),if used to charge high-power devices such as tablets,may cause the charger to work in an overloaded state for a long time due to the large charging current required by tablets.This will cause excessive current to the electronic components inside the charger,resulting in severe heating of the components,which can damage them and even cause accidents.

2、Fire risk

Overheating and catching fire

The charger generates heat during operation,and under normal circumstances,the heat can be dissipated through heat dissipation design.However,if the heat dissipation holes of the charger are blocked,such as being placed on a soft sofa or bed,the heat cannot be dissipated in time and will accumulate inside the charger.As the temperature continues to rise,the plastic components and circuit boards inside the charger may ignite,causing a fire.

In addition,as mentioned earlier,short circuits and overloads can also cause the charger to overheat and become a fire hazard.

3、Electric shock risk
